For a class in my undergrad studying multitrack recording and editing we were tasked to create a cover project either replicating an exact sound of a song, or covering the song with a new genre and approach. For this project my partner Sophie and I decided to take the song, "You Give Love a Bad Name" by Bon Jovi and turn it into a bluesy-folk-country song. ​

We needed to arrange the song in a slightly different manner to make stylistic choices make sense, and find musicians and singers to fulfill our vision with this project. We spent well over 40 hours developing this song, and then published our finished project on my YouTube channel.​
